Nalbina dungeons
 
Vaan wakes up in prison after a vivid dream of his brother.
 
Look around as vaan to see what else they have thrown in here. the only treasure that can be found here are 'knots of rust'.
 
talk to everyone if you wish to get a feel of how the enemies of the empire are treated, and you meet worhsippers of different faiths here, so you have more of an idea of the regime in this part of ivalice.
 
here are some of the prisoners that i spoke to
No 823 asks about hope and he reckons the empire will fall anytime soon.
no 546 speaks of vaan's companion (balthier) and the hefty price on his head.
no 982 warns the newcomer (you) to do whatever 'daguza' tells ya (ie, daguza is the meathead around here)
 
the save point can be found here but at first whilst approaching someone shouts out you cannot go further, but ignore the dude and continue to your save crystal.
 
vaan tried to be hero in the next scene, and balthier comes to your aid, but it is time to run.
 
after the whole drama you find your weapons and stuff, and also come across extra treasure such as a tourmaline ring and a 'gambit foe:targeting leader'.
 

try to go out of your way looking around as these are some of the loot and items to befound lying around

  • chromed leathers
  • potions (the soldiers you have to fight through to look around)

after a few cut scenes, you come across some guy called burrogh, who happens to sell some decent gear.

  • dagger
  • broadsword
  • shortbow
  • longsword
  • mage masher

btw, before solving the puzzle of the door and leaving the area, check out the first floor and the extended room, where you can rummage through three chests that contain; 777gil, 269 gil and 196 gil.

go back to burrogh once you checked out the levers and he will explain about a fuse that he has in his possession. this needs to be installed in the thingymagig upstairs. so we did that little task and we had power. now get back to the switch and get out of here.
